I placed into Platinum on Support for the first time! (Still barely clinging to Gold on Damage. We don't queue Tank.)

I did it mostly playing Mizuki, who I took an immediate shine to, both character and gameplay-wise. The last time I actually clicked with a new character was Lifeweaver, so it feels great to have someone new to play.

I just need them to release a Damage hero I can get into now that Sombra's in the gutter. I'm bouncing around between Reaper, Echo, Symm, and situationally Torb, but none of them hit quite like Sombra did.

Well, Overwatch PvE is officially dead. No one is surprised and I can't say I'm even that bummed about it anymore. It's kind of nice to have the confirmation it's definitely not going to happen. (I didn't even buy Invasion—a paid version of an Archives mission doesn't sound that fun?? Like, I enjoyed Archives but I didn't enjoy it enough to pay extra for it.)

Has any other IP been fumbled THIS badly in proportion to how good it was? Because Overwatch was lightning in a bottle when it launched and it fizzled out in such a sad way!

But anyway, the gameplay is still fun, and still nothing can really come close to what it does! I've tried other games to try and replace Overwatch, but nothing hits the same, so as disappointed as I am with Blizzard in general and with how they mismanaged this game in particular, at least the PvP is still great, and with the changes to Competitive I'm back to playing that mode again, too!

I've picked up Lifeweaver and Illari as new mains, and I'm excited for Venture and the Mars support!

The new voicelines and interactions!! Reaper telling Sigma to get back in his cage. Jack and Sigma! Jack and Widowmaker fighting over who loved Gerard most??! EVERYTHING Junkrat says. As mainly a fan of the lore and characters, I am eating well these days.
Some of the redesigns are tight.
Junkrat stopped setting his head on fire long enough for his hair to grow back, I'm so proud of him. ~~Mei will appreciate how well he cleans up.~~
PING SYSTEM
I can passive aggressively spam my respawn timer while the DPS who refused to protect me asks for heals while I'm dead.
It's nice to flex queue and not endlessly get tank time after time.
Mystery Heroes got promoted to the QP page.
Mercy's movement feels really good.
