video game TCG - a followup!

A bit ago I mentioned that I was messing around with a potential TCG for video games...and I have got a lot done since then!

Firstly, here's the final designs for most of the cards:

Here's the design for DLC decks.  These are decks that are multifandom or multicharacter!



Also!  All the important parts of the website are functioning.  The game will mostly be played here on Dreamwidth, with the website providing additional support.

EVEN BETTER, the randomizers are working.  These were critical, as mods will need them to generate random rewards for activities and games.

Here are the general randomizers, which can generate from all base and DLC decks or separate by category.  I've also devised a method for random foil drops to occur with appropriate rarity in the basic randomizer: https://ggtcg.online/randomizer.php

I have also made the community for the game, ggtcg which has some preliminary info there on possible game schedule!  The community is joinable if anyone wants to keep an eye on development, but not open for posting yet obviously.

NEXT TASKS

- MAKING DECKS.  So many decks.  And hopefully finding people willing to make decks with me or at least donate deck images.
- Documentation!  Lots of write ups still to be made.
- Finding people who might be interested!  Once more decks are made, I might start posting to some promo or gaming communities to see if there will be enough players for this to eventually launch.

I think it could be fun! I've gotten a decent amount of work done on it the past week, and I think I'll start poking around in some gaming communities to see who might be interested in playing! ^^

Nice! However, I feel like the foil versions ought to be animated (AVIF) with a sparkle or some type of sheen or glare. It's been a really long time but, that should be fairly simple to do with GIMP. Maybe if I remember I'll give it a one off shot. lol

Or is LibreWolf not rendering those as intended? 🧐
