Overwatch PvE
Mar. 24th, 2024 10:41 pmWell, Overwatch PvE is officially dead. No one is surprised and I can't say I'm even that bummed about it anymore. It's kind of nice to have the confirmation it's definitely not going to happen. (I didn't even buy Invasion—a paid version of an Archives mission doesn't sound that fun?? Like, I enjoyed Archives but I didn't enjoy it enough to pay extra for it.)
Has any other IP been fumbled THIS badly in proportion to how good it was? Because Overwatch was lightning in a bottle when it launched and it fizzled out in such a sad way!
But anyway, the gameplay is still fun, and still nothing can really come close to what it does! I've tried other games to try and replace Overwatch, but nothing hits the same, so as disappointed as I am with Blizzard in general and with how they mismanaged this game in particular, at least the PvP is still great, and with the changes to Competitive I'm back to playing that mode again, too!
I've picked up Lifeweaver and Illari as new mains, and I'm excited for Venture and the Mars support!
