I have some song prompts!  I've presented them without comment.  The fun of song prompts for me is seeing how they inspire others!

General Prompts...for any fandom or characters!

 

 

 - Masquerade - Maybe it's for some sort of mission, like infiltrating the enemy or some other organization, which would work great for Dead Space (could be a Unitology masquerade!).  And for Overwatch, a masquerade is exactly the kind of event Maximilien would encounter or even host.  And of course, it could always be a surreal nightmare masquerade!  A grotesque pageantry, or something going on only in someone's mind.  What pleasant or unpleasant surprises might be lurking behind the masks?  For artwork I would LOVE some mask and costume design for any characters, which could be more in the romantic gothic horror tradition or more toward bloody, ghastly, and disturbing! :D

- Blackouts!  The lights go out, it's now pitch black.  How do things go?  Do things get terrifying?  Sexy?  Terrifyingly sexy??  What put the lights out in the first place?  Just a bad storm or did someone (or someTHING) cut the power? 

 - Character designs spookyfied or gothed up.  Witch/cult versions, slasher versions, black lace, demonic versions, classic horror aesthetics, etc!

- Classic horror settings!  Cornfields, haunted old mansions, creepy forests, ghost ships, abandoned asylums, remote cabins, medical labs, etc.!  For art, I'm picturing characters just absolutely drowning in classic creepy environment tropes...standing in the fog of a dark forest, looking down a dim hallway staring into blackness, standing in the corn unaware of the glowing eyes behind them, etc.!

Notes: 

I'm really into the bleakness of this setting, the oppressive and hopeless atmosphere, the unrelenting dread and torment.  And how the survivors might carve out some solace for themselves amidst it all.  I'm also all about the overwhelming power of the Killers compared to the Survivors and how oppressive it must be facing the Killers.

I've requested a lot of Freddy. ♥  Please feel free to include or throw out any elements from the originals or the 2010 remake as you like.  I LOVE the claw.  The claw is everything.

I also love all the Survivors and Killers, and would be THRILLED to see any extras show up, even ones I didn't specifically request!

And Leon was announced after nominations ARGH.  If you like, assume he is requested as well!
 

 

Prompts:

• Felix:  First time in a trial!  How did they break him in?  And/or first time at the Campfire, learning the true extent of his new horrible eternity.
  • Horror types:  Monster, Psychological, Survival, Violent

• Any Survivor(s) - So we know there are cults around that worship the Entity, and I want one or more Survivors to encounter one of these cults! :D  Before the Survivors were pulled into the realms or in an effort to escape or just because of handwavy Entity reasons, bring them face to face with an Entity cult!
  • Horror types: Folk, Religious

• Any:  The Killer has caught a survivor (or more than one), and is brutalizing them.  One (or more) survivors have managed to hide very close by, and they have to listen to every second of it.  What do they do?  Try to help?  Keep hiding and try to muffle their sobs?  Is the exit nearby and do they have to make a choice on whether to escape or help?  Are they actually safe, or does the Killer know they are there and comes for them too in the end?  For the brutalizing, go nuts.  Get as bananas horrific as you please.  Aside from the DNWs, everything's on the table here.  For art, take this as a prompt for some lovingly crafted torture ♥
  • Horror types:  Monster, Survival, Violent

• Any Survivors:  Hurt/comfort around the Campfire!  Where the comfort is meager and weak because everyone is so very traumatized and wrung out and they have almost nothing left to give. :D  Art-wise, I can picture characters huddled together, grim and haggard, taking whatever pitiful comfort they can from physical contact.
  • Horror types:  Psychological, Survival

• Any:  Artwork or fic of any character interacting with, burning, or using their offerings!  Some of the offerings are so evocative or funny.  Some of my favorites:  any of the shrouds, any of the various herbal/plant sachets, the wards, the wreaths, Bloody Party Streamers.
  • Horror types:  Dark Fantasy, Paranormal, Survival

• Any Killers:  I'm totally enamored with the idea of two or more of the Killers hunting together.  Would love fic or art of this!  Art-wise you could go the straight horror route or you could even do something cute or funny!  For a story, I'm just so interested in how they'd get along!  How successful or unsuccessful they might be at working together.  Are the Legion total fans of Ghostface and spend their time with him quietly squeeing?  Does Freddy think Trapper is just SO BORING UGH.  :D  And, of course, tag team torturing Survivors is always on the table!
  • Horror types: Survival, Violent

• Freddy & Quentin: Quentin's situation is just so uniquely horrible to me.  Not only is he stuck here like everyone else, but he has to face <i>Freddy</i>, over and over, until he becomes an empty shell drained of all hope or humanity.  D:  Would be cool to see how he keeps going, or how he's unraveling.

Notes:

Isaac getting beaten and menaced and tormented is the best thing ♥.  I love watching him suffer, but I also love how he will NOT quit, and the crazy lengths he will go to make a thing happen.  And then, on top of all that, he's always the one building other people up, keeping other people together, even when he's falling apart himself.  And finally, I love those rare moments when he gets proper righteous angry.  It doesn't happen often, but it is soooo cathartic when it does.

Dead Space hits some fantastic horror elements for me.  There's the Markers themselves, and I just love their eldritch, unknowable nature and Isaac's relationship to them, how they're irrevocably a part of his life now and there's no escaping their touch on his mind.  And I also loooove cults so I'm totally enamored with Unitology and how obsessed they are with Isaac and how it is for him to constantly be under their power!

Feel free to mess around with the circumstances of Norton's canonical death if you like.
 

 

Prompts:

• Any:  What if, amidst Isaac's madness during his captivity, he carved Marker language into his own body.  Or shit, what if STROSS did it to him?  Now, he's got to live with seeing it every day. Or throw in Ellie or Carver and have them discover for the first time what he did to himself. And what if Norton caught a glimpse of them? He'd be VICIOUS about it. And for an entirely different direction, what if Daina or Jacob need the formulas and secrets Isaac inscribed upon himself??  Art-wise, seeing Isaac with Marker scrawl scarring any part of him would be pretty dope. :D
  • Horror types:  Psychological, Religious, Sci-fi 

• Any: Someone's got the extensive video logs of everything the Unitologists did to Isaac in his three years of captivity.  What if Ellie or Carver come across them? And they get hit in the face with the living nightmare Isaac went through? The sadder and more horrific his torment was, the better. Isaac can be there to discover it with them or not. Shit, Norton could get access to them via his EarthGov connections. Does he use them to try and hurt Isaac? Show them to Ellie or Carver?? And Daina or Jacob would be most interested in examining every second of them.
  • Horror types:  Body, Medical, Psychological, Religious, Sci-fi

• Isaac &/ Carver, Ellie, Norton:  Let someone else be under the Marker's sway, and let Isaac have to handle it.  What does the Marker make them see?  Make them do?  How is their perception distorted?  Where does it take them to and how does Isaac get them back from there?  What would happen if Carver perceived Isaac as Damara, or Norton saw him as Ellie, or Ellie saw him as Stross?? 
  • Horror  types: Psychological

• Isaac & Norton:  Norton's strange and manic paranoia points to at least partial influence by the Marker to me.  Take that up to eleven. Have him go full stalker killer on Isaac in those frozen, claustrophobic hallways on Tau Volantis. Involve Carver or not as you like!
  • Horror types:  Killer, Sci-fi, Survival

• Isaac solo or Isaac /& Daina, Stross: Get into Isaac's time in captivity on Titan.  What did they do to him?  What was he going through mentally?  Physically?  Did he have any lucid periods?  Or bring in Stross, as well.  They built the Marker together.  That is a truly singular experience to share with another person—what horrors did they endure together in that place?  How did they sustained each other?  And what was it like for Daina and the other Unitologists to have Isaac in their hands—a man who had such intimate contact with the object of their worship?  For artwork, I'd be stoked to see any visual interpretations of the experiments they put Isaac through for those three years.  Things were kept intentionally vague in-game—substantiate some of that mystery visually!
  • Horror types:  Body, Medical, Religious

• Isaac solo:  Get into Isaac's head and into his own relationship with the Markers, with the Brethren Moons, with whatever immense eldritch intelligence is moving these forces.  I want to know what thoughts encroach when he doesn't have a survival situation to keep him busy.  For fic this would very much be an introspective thing, but for artwork I'd love a visual representation of his madness and desperation!

Ana /& Slasher: 76 - D.Va /& Slasher: 76

 

 

Notes:

I've requested some Slasher: 76, so you can take a lot of liberties with that!  In terms of any backstory or contrivances you'd need for a fic, I'm down for basically anything regarding him.  For the characters I requested him with, I'd like if they're reasonably close to who and what they are in canon.  Like, I'd want Ana to still be a sniper, or D.Va is still a famous gamer, etc., but you can definitely take them out of the world of Overwatch!

I absolutely ADORE the entire cast of characters, so anyone you want or need to include, bring them the heck on!  Though just a reminder, no young Pharah please and thanks! (my kidfic DNW)  Pharah in upper teens at least please if she's there! ♥
 

Prompts:

• Slasher: 76 /& Ana - Ana is sent to track down and kill this menace!  How do things go??  Does she succeed in taking him down?  Does she lose completely??  Does she succeed, but not after he takes a piece out of her, either literally or figuratively?  Bring her to his lair, maybe let her be a bit cocky before making her realize she's in serious trouble and this will not be as easy as she thought.
  • Horror types:  Killer, Survival, Violent

• Slasher: 76 /& Any - The opposite of the above...home invasioooon~!  And this could be their actual home, or a lovely remote cabin getaway, or he could even be terrorizing a bigger place like a resort they're at or a hotel or something.  Slasher inflicting his terror on a place that should have been safe!
  • Horror types:  Killer, Survival, Violent

• Slasher: 76 /& Any - For artwork, anything actiony or creepy is great!  Violence is also good.  I really like the glow of Slasher's eyes, so anything emphasizing that would be dope.  Find some interesting uses for that weirdass chainsaw gun maybe?  Anything with him brutalizing someone, really.  
  • Horror types:  Killer, Violent

• Maximilien & Anubis - I could see where other omnics might consider Max a traitor to his own kind, so what if Anubis got Max within his reach?  I'm guessing he would not be happy with Max, and his presence in Max's head would be pretty horrifying considering Anubis can override Max's free will. D:  Which means not only psychological horror, but potentially body horror as well since Anubis can physically MAKE Max do whatever he pleases.  Make him sufferrrr.
